Amazon.co.uk has removed all gsa-branded office supplies from its website, following complaints from some customers.
In a blog post, the online retailer said the items had been removed from its site because they were inappropriate for its employees.
The removal came after a customer wrote to the online retail giant saying that she was upset by items from the UK company.
“I am very sorry to hear that you have removed our gsa Office Supplies from your website.
The products are not appropriate for our employees.
The gsa company have not been contacted,” a customer from South Australia wrote.”
Please make sure your staff do not use these products.”
A spokesperson for Amazon said that the items were no longer on the company’s shelves and that it had no further comment.
“It is very unfortunate that we have to remove some gsa products from the site and I hope that you will continue to be an outstanding customer,” the spokesperson said.
“Unfortunately, these items are no longer available for sale in our stores, and I cannot provide further details.”
Amazon did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Independent.
